Me and You Event Group – Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by Me and You Event Group (“We”, “Us”,
“Our”) to the Client (“Client”, “You”). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. They
cover all services including event planning, photography, videography, creative/design, marketing, and
website development and maintenance. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and a
proposal or quotation, these Terms shall prevail unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Definitions
Client: Any individual, company, or organisation engaging our services. Services: Event planning and
management, photography, videography, creative/design, marketing, website development and maintenance.
Contract: The agreement including these Terms & Conditions, any written proposals, and confirmed
bookings. Invoice: A formal request for payment for services rendered, including any applicable taxes.
Deliverables: Tangible or digital outputs resulting from the services. Working Day: Monday to Friday,
excluding UK public holidays.
3. Scope of Services
Event Planning & Management, Photography & Videography, Creative & Design, Marketing Services,
Website Development & Maintenance. All services are subject to specific deliverables agreed in writing.
Examples of past work are illustrative only and do not guarantee similar results.
4. Bookings, Quotations & Acceptance
Quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Services are booked upon receipt of the required
deposit and written acceptance of our proposal. Verbal agreements are not binding until confirmed in writing.
Any services requested outside the agreed scope may incur additional charges, which will be invoiced
separately.
5. Fees, Deposits & Payment Terms
Hybrid payment structure applies: – Project-based services (photography, creative, short-term marketing,
one-off events): 14 days from invoice. – Retainer-based or ongoing maintenance services: 30 days from
invoice. Deposits are non-refundable except where services are cancelled by Us without cause. Late
payments may incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate plus recovery fees under the Late
Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
6. Client Responsibilities
Provide accurate information, approvals, and access to facilities or materials needed to perform services.
Ensure third-party content is owned or licensed for use and obtain necessary permissions, licences, and
insurance for events.
7. Delivery, Performance & TimelinesEstimated delivery dates may change due to factors outside our control. Time shall not be of the essence
unless expressly agreed in writing.
8. Intellectual Property
All materials remain Our intellectual property until full payment is received. Upon payment, the Client receives
a non-exclusive licence for use as agreed. We reserve the right to use non-confidential excerpts for portfolio
or marketing purposes.
9. Liability & Insurance
We hold public liability insurance. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our liability is capped
at the total fees paid under the Contract. The Client is responsible for appropriate event or venue insurance.
10. Force Majeure
Neither party is responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural
disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.
11. Data Protection & Privacy
We comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Personal data is processed in line with our
Privacy Policy at www.meandyoueventgroup.co.uk/privacy.
12. Disputes & Complaints
Complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days of event or service delivery. We will attempt to resolve
disputes amicably and may propose mediation before legal action. Governed by English law under the
jurisdiction of English courts.
13. Amendments
We may update these Terms periodically. The version in effect at the time of booking will apply. Clients will be
notified of updates before they take effect.
